Safety

United Aviation has recently started to develop all its operations under the strictest safety standards of the global industry, certifying in September 2019 to 4 of the most important airports of its network in ISBAH.

Over the next few months we will be certifying the rest of the airports in our network, with the clear objective of being the first business handling company in Spain to have its entire airport network certified in ISBAH, as an unequivocal commitment to the quality of service and the safety of the operations we carry out with our clients.

Launched in 2014, the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) is designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of business and general aviation Ground Handling Service Providers (GHSP) on a global level.

IS-BAH is based on the implementation of industry best practices blended through a progressive Safety Management System (SMS). Therefore, IS-BAHTM is the global industry standard for handlers and operators around the world to meet the coming SMS requirements from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

In its continuous commitment to quality and safety, United Aviation develops all its operations under the strictest safety standards in the global industry, achieving IS-BAH certification in 2019.This certification, renewable every 2 years, will make United Aviation the first GHSP in Spain to have its entire network IS-BAH certified, as an unequivocal commitment to achieve the excellence deserved by our customers.

But how can safety be guaranteed?

The key is to listen to the needs and concerns of our customers, and to be mindful that, in the event of damage to an aircraft, there is an additional cost in addition to the repair: the loss of profit due to the aircraft not being able to generate the expected profits.

The big concern is that in the Standard Aviation Liability Insurance Certificates around the world, none of them included an Additional Coverage for this cause… Until NOW. For this reason United Aviation is a pioneer in Europe including in its Civil Liability policy an Additional Coverage for Loss of Profit, with an additional limit of 1 million euros per claim. Because if we are serious about safety, it must be GUARANTEED
